This class includes is in-depth lessons on the Sermon on the Mount. The Sermon on the Mount comes from when Jesus was just beginning his early ministry after being baptized by John and was traveling through Galilee. It appears in Matthew chapters 5–7. It is the largest block of teachings uninterrupted by narrative in the Gospels. It includes the Beatitudes, an exposition of the law, a critique of Pharisaic legalism and self-righteousness attitudes, and The Lord's Prayer.
